Why won’t my QR code scan? Is it broken—or just being dramatic?

Ah, the mysterious world of QR code tantrums. Here are the most common culprits (and how to fix them):

  • Lighting: If it's too dark or too shiny, your camera might give up. Try better lighting (or don’t scan in a cave).

  • Camera Focus: Get close, but not too close—your camera needs a second to lock in.

  • Smudges & Scratches: A dirty or damaged sticker can confuse the scanner. Wipe it off gently—no need for elbow grease.

  • QR Scanner App: Skip it! Just use your phone’s native camera—third-party apps can throw errors.

  • Internet Woes: If your connection is flaky, even a perfect scan won’t load the video. Wi-Fi saves lives.
