Are you getting kicked out when I trying to record or upload a video after scanning a Spokenote QR code? Does it works on your iPad but crashes on your iPhone? Are you using Wi-Fi? Have you updated your ios?
If things are going sideways, it’s likely due to a setting on your device or a finicky internet connection (don’t worry, we’ve seen it all).
Here’s what might be going on—and how to calm your tech down:
📶 Network Firewalls:
School, work, or extra-paranoid home networks may block cloud-based tools like Spokenote. If your iPad had issues, this might be the culprit.
📱 iPhone Users:
-
Switch browsers (Safari, Chrome, etc.).
-
Check camera/mic permissions for your browser.
-
Try using cellular data instead of Wi-Fi.
-
Make sure your iOS is up to date—there was a known bug that messed with video uploads over cellular.
🤖 Android Users:
-
Use Chrome or your device’s default browser (avoid in-app QR scanner browsers).
-
Go to App Permissions and make sure camera, mic, and file access are allowed for your browser.
-
Use mobile data if Wi-Fi isn’t playing nice.
-
Try clearing your browser cache—a classic, but effective trick.
